Tender Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry

Our beef & broccoli stir fry is packed with crunchy veg, tender beef and expertly blended Blue Dragon Black Bean Sauce to deliver amazing flavour in minutes.

  • 2 nests Blue Dragon Medium Egg Noodles

    2 tbsp. vegetable oil

    250g steak, thinly sliced (tastiest if you take it out of the fridge 20 mins before cooking)

    A thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, sliced

    1 clove of garlic

    4 spring onions, diagonally sliced

    A handful of broccoli

    1 red pepper, sliced

    A handful of beansprouts

    A handful of mangetout

    A handful of shredded cabbage or pak choi

    ½ a carrot, sliced into matchsticks

    1 sachet Blue Dragon Black Bean Stir Fry Sauce

    A drizzle of Blue Dragon Sesame Oil to finish

    1. Prepare the noodles as per pack instructions. Drain, and set aside.
    2. Take a frying pan or wok and heat a tablespoon of the oil until just before smoking point. Add the steak strips and fry for 3-4 minutes until tender. Remove and set aside.
    3. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the hot pan, then your veg. Throw in the ‘aromatics’ first – that’s the garlic, ginger and most of the spring onion – followed by the broccoli and any veg you like that’s got a bit of bite (we love peppers, cabbage, carrots and mangetout). Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until the veg is cooked but still has a crunch.
    4. Add the steak and noodles to the pan, and toss with your Blue Dragon Black Bean Stir Fry Sauce to coat. Drizzle with Blue Dragon Sesame Oil, a scattering of coriander leaves and the remaining spring onion & serve.
